The Partridge Fund

Our History

Since 1927 the Trustees of Partridge Academy have been awarding scholarships to deserving Duxbury, MA High School seniors. The first scholarship granted was in the amount of $1,200 almost 100 years ago. In just the last 20 years, the Partridge and Managed Funds have granted more than $1.75 million in scholarship awards to successful candidates. 

 

The Partridge Fund and Managed Funds currently have an endowment of close to $4.5 million. In 2022, scholarships of approximately $220,000 were awarded.

 

To be eligible for consideration for a Partridge Fund scholarship award, candidates must have demonstrated the following qualities, including:

· An outstanding record of academic achievement – top 20 percent of class.

· A commitment to extracurricular engagement, such as ongoing participation inside and outside of the classroom - in activities such as art, clubs, music, and sports, as well as community involvement, work or a history of volunteerism.

In 2023, Scholarship Applications will be available starting in mid April and are due by Sunday April 30. Please contact the Duxbury High School Guidance Office for additional information should you have any questions.
